Popular kidswear brand Barbie is planning to extend its network of exclusive brand outlets (EBOs) across India. The company is now very buoyant about the brand’s growth prospects in the Indian market. They are aiming at a turnover of Rs 2-3 billion over the next two year period and plan to earn revenue of Rs 10 billion by 2020. The company is planning to go for expansion plans to increase their network to 70-80 stores over the next two years, particularly focusing Tier II and Tier III cities, where there is a strong demand for Barbie products.
