Quick-service restaurant chain KFC has opened a new outlet on the Jalandhar-Amritsar highway, located at Sapphire North on the highway. Sapphire Foods is one of the two companies that operate the Yum! Brands-owned KFC in India, the other being Devyani International Ltd. KFC has been aggressively expanding its footprint across the country. In December last year, it opened its 1000th outlet at DLF Cyber Hub in Gurugram, Delhi-NCR. Such rapid expansion move of KFC is an added business opportunity for the signage companies engaging in in-store graphics, designs, displays, and such related applications.
