IKEA to unveil its Gurgaon store in two years

Gurgaon may see its first IKEA store in the next two years. The Swedish furniture and home products retailer purchased a plot of land in Gurgaon earlier this month. Once they purchase the land, it generally takes maximum one-and-half to two years” for an IKEA outlet to come up. Earlier this month, the world’s largest single brand retailer won a Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) auction for 10 acres in the heart of Gurgaon for Rs 842 crore. The Sector 47 Gurgaon outlet could be IKEA’s first in the National Capital Region. And this is rejoice for the signage companies whose activities involve in in-store projects, such as branding, designs, graphics, etc.
