Home Center to increase stores in India

Home Center, the chain of furniture, home accessories and kitchenware outlets from the Dubai-based Landmark Group, is planning to increase the number of its stores to 25 from the current 15 by 2014 in India. The proposed expansion will attract an investment of Rs 300 crore going by current market trend. After opening companies 15th store recently in India at Chennai, the company is looking at the increase in the store count by expecting a turnover of Rs 650–700 crore. In 2012–13, the company has set a turnover target of Rs 450 crore. Indeed a big expansion in the retail sector, which would bring in a fresh business opportunity for the signage companies dealing in in-store displays, signage, branding, fabrications, etc.
