GMG Color, SOS and Vivid team up for ‘THE 3 CARD TRICK’

World’s three leading companies—GMG Color, SOS and Vivid—are teaming up for an Open House Event to be held on September 6 and 7 at Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire. The event titled ‘THE 3 CARD TRICK’ will produce a range of wide-format print on some of the latest Roland TrueVIS print/cut machines supplied by SOS, driven by GMG’s colour control and workflow software. Samples will then be cut, folded and laminated on Vivid’s VeloBlade range of equipment, enabling visitors to take away a finished product, including a souvenir boxed deck of laminate playing cards.

The event will showcase GMG Color’s software solutions for colour management and proofing, which enable accurate and reproducible proofs on packaging production substrates, incorporating white ink – particularly useful for printing on transparent and metallic materials. Thanks to reliable calibration and profiling, users can easily create specific media profiles for any media used with the printer.
