Fisher’s Textile introduces opaque white light blocking media

Known for its light blocking capabilities, Fisher Textile introduces GF 8880 Opaque White (FR), which is going to be premiered at the 2014 SGIA where the company constructs its booth with three towers ranging in height from 12’ to 16’ using this new product. GF 8880 allows printing on one side without the use of a blockout liner on the inside. It provides cost savings in both material and labor to sew the towers. Tested under AATCC 148-1989, this fabric produced 1.3 percent transmitted light and 98.7 percent blocked light. Available in 125 inch wide, it is 8.0 oz./sq yd, soft and has an extreme white point. This three layered woven material consists of a white face and back with a black layer sandwiched in between. Major applications of this innovative printing material include retail advertising, trade show exhibit environments and so on.
