EPSON launches new SureColor S7160 eco-solvent printer

EPSON has announced the launch of an all new SureColor S7160 eco-solvent printer. Built upon the success of the SC-S40600, which has achieved over 11,000 units in global sales, the printer is perfect for outdoor and indoor signage applications. This newly launched EPSON SC-S7160 is designed to deliver outstanding image quality, productivity, ease-of-use, and reliability at a minimal cost. It is a 4-colour eco-solvent printer, which incorporates advanced technologies that improve both user experience and print quality. The features include EPSON’s advanced 1.33-inch-wide PrecisionCore Micro TFP printhead which facilitates faster printing and wider print width in a single pass, increasing the number of nozzles from 360 to 400.

Newly launched EPSON SureColor S7160 utilises a larger 4-colour UltraChrome GS3 800 ml ink pouch system, enabling vibrant and accurate prints on a variety of media types, including vinyl, canvas, film, wallpaper, and other roll media up to 1,626 mm wide. The transition from 700 ml cartridges to 800 ml ink bags reduces the frequency of ink replacement, while being 84 percent lighter and generating 91 percent less waste per bag, aligning with EPSON’s sustainability goals. It includes an advanced auto tension control system and a reinforced media feed roller for high-precision media feeding.
