EFI launches new flatbed & hybrid printers and new inks

EFI has announced the launch of new wide-format Pro+ Series Printers and High-performance ProGraphics+ Series Inks. The EFI Pro 16h+ and the EFI Pro 30f+ printers feature more capabilities, better image quality, and a performance boost over previous generation. Designed to help sign and display graphics producers be more competitive and grow their business, the EFI Pro 16h+ hybrid LED printer and the EFI Pro 30f+ flatbed LED printer deliver high-quality imaging at production speeds and even more printing capabilities – all with a low total cost of ownership (TCO).

The newly launched 1.65m (65-inch) EFI Pro 16h+ hybrid flatbed/roll-fed LED printer offers outstanding image quality with resolutions up to 1200dpi and true variable drop grayscale printing with a 5pL drop size, and production-level printing up to 50 percent faster than the Pro 16hEFI Pro 16h Hybrid Flatbed Roll fed LED printer. The new Pro 16h+ printer features LED curing technology and comes with CYMK plus two white ink channels and up to five-layer printing in any colour in a single pass, expanding the range of applications that can be produced at a low cost to manufacture. Large bed size of the newly launched EFI system is designed with printable area of 3x2m (120 x 80inchs) for bleed printing, capable to print on media up to four-inch thick.
