Durst Rho 800 Presto becomes ‘Top Flatbed Printer’ for 2008

The Durst Rho 800 Presto large-format UV inkjet printer – the versatile, efficient 98-inchwide ‘hybrid’ platform with continuous board printing for unprecedented productivity – has been selected as the ‘Top Flatbed Printer’ for 2008 by the readers of Wide-Format Imaging, a trade magazine in the United States. This ‘Readers’ Choice’ award was presented to Durst at Sign Expo 2008 in Orlando.

This award winning printer can print on multiple narrow boards across its full 98-inch width on materials up to 2.75 inches thick, at a top speed of 1,200 sq ft/hr (draft mode). Besides, it is compatible with Durst’s heavyduty roll feed/take-up accessory that easily handles roll media up to 80 inches wide and 440 pounds. It prints white ink, specialeffect varnish, light and spot colours with no loss of speed. Quadro Array printhead technology ensures sharp images, crisp text down to 4-point type and high colour density in solid areas.
