Kerala-based digital retail chain myG is planning to add 25 new stores in south India. The firm with 75 retail units selling electronic gadgets mainly mobile phones, laptops and tablets in Kerala will add the new stores in the southern Indian states, which will make it the first retail chain from Kerala other than jewellery and textiles to venture outside the state. The company has selected Malayalam actor Mohanlal as its brand ambassador. Retail expansion plan of myG will bring a new business opportunity to signage companies in the region whose activities in involve in in-store signage and graphic applications.
