Started by Manu Ranganathan, son of CK Ranganathan of CavinKare, CK’s Bakery has grown from four outlets in three months. Now the bakery chain is on an expansion mode. CK’s Bakery, which addresses this segment, was started on June 8 on a 140 sq ft space. The shop provides a range of food items, including sandwiches and paninis, which is their signature dish, in addition to regular baked products. The bakery made a profit of Rs 16,000 in its first month and current month’s profit before tax is expected to reach Rs 1 lakh. It is looking to launch 20 more outlets in the next two months.
