Carrefour debuts store in Bengaluru

Carrefour has unveiled its first cash and carry store in Benglauru under the name Carrefour Wholesale Cash & Carry. The store located in the western part of the city in the Binny Mills neighbourhood is spread across 6,400 sq m. The company said the store in Bangalore has hired more than 170 employees locally. With the Bengaluru opening, Carrefour now has five stores in the country. The others are in New Delhi, Jaipur, Meerut and Agra. Such boost in the retail segment in the city with launch of new Carrefour stores is an added advantage for signage players engaging in in-shop designs, displays and related activities.
