Homegrown burger chain Burger Singh was created to fill a long-standing gap in the Indian quick-service market by offering fast food that truly resonates with Indian palates. The idea took shape in 2014 when founder Kabir Jeet Singh, while working at a burger joint in the UK as a student, began experimenting by adding Indian spices to burgers, a hit that sparked the idea of ‘Indianising’ the classic burger. Today, Burger Singh has expanded its footprint to over 180 outlets across more than 80 cities in India, establishing a strong presence in both metropolitan and emerging markets. The brand aims at making the store count to 750 by 2028 and it signals a big business boost for signage companies whose tasks involve in in-store graphics, designs, displays, and such jobs.
