After withdrawing from the market three years ago, LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA (LVMH)-owned Italian luxury goods firm Bulgari SpA is ready to make its second entry into the country by opening a store in Delhi by the month-end. The company will sell expensive watches and jewellery to wealthy Indians, said people familiar with the brand’s plans who declined to be named. The brand’s launch comes after it received approval from the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) in July to set up single-brand retail stores through a joint venture with New Delhi-based Luxco India Retail Pvt. Ltd. Bulgari, known for its jewellery designs, watches, perfumes and accessories. Such new development in the retail sector will bring in a fresh business for the signage companies engaging in in-shop displays, designs and related activities.
