BCCL acquires Priknit Retails

The retailing company sell garments through its chain of stores under the Priknit. Priknit is planning to strengthen its foothold in the west and south Indian market through a series of store launches in 2009-

Priknit retails Ltd is a Ludhiana based company, engaged in the business of manufacturing and retailing of apparels (knits and woolens) ranging from men’s and women’s formal and casual wear to hosiery products. It operates through 300 stores across 160 cities with more than three lakh square feet of retail space and has large-scale expansion plans with a target of 1000 retails stores by 2010. The new set-up of Priknit will offer a opportunity to the country’s signage segment particularly in-store media barons.
