Bata to switch to large-format stores

Leading footwear and accessories manufacturer and retailer Bata India Ltd is planning to consolidate its position as a “destination store for the family” with bigger outlets and a wider product range. The company source announces that Bata has gone beyond footwear for the entire family to handbags and fashion accessories, and will soon include more product lines for men. The new avatar of the company towards the launch of a new format would bring in a new business activity which signage players engaging in in-shop displays and related activities in the sector.
