Based out of Reading in Southern England, wide-format graphics major VGL has installed a swissQprint Kudu, as the company’s business continues to invest in pushing boundaries and delivering exceptional print for its customers. Kudu flatbed printer is the winner of a European Digital Press Association award and it comes up as a perfect choice for VGL. Featuring a 3.2×2 m print bed and printing at up to 304 sq m/hr, the Kudu met VGL’s demand for productivity.
Kudu is flexible and it features 10 colour channels to produce graphics in 1350 dpi resolution in roll-to-roll as well as dual roll options. The machine steps into a space of both creativity and productivity that really suit VGL’s broad range of clients. Alongside the quality and flexibility provided by the Kudu, its efficient running costs and sustainability benefits were an important factor in VGL’s decision. Certified to consume only 2.2 kilowatt-hours of electricity, Kulu’s power consumption is equal to an average kettle.
