Avery Dennison recognises its global suppliers

At its fifth annual global awards ceremony held from March 12-13 at Oegstgeest, Netherlands, Avery Dennison Label and Graphic Materials has recognised eight pressure-sensitive industry suppliers. The winners were selected based on their performance in areas such as sustainability, innovation, service, and quality. The list below details those companies recognised during the ceremony and their respective award categories. ‘Supplier Distinction Award’ went to Jerich International (Gleisdorf, Austria), highlighting the supplier that makes extraordinary contributions. ‘Best Emerging Supplier’ was bagged by Sumei Chemical Co (Taipei, Taiwan, PRC) in recognition of the supplier growing with Avery Dennison globally.

‘Best Indirect Supplier’ award was bagged by GP Lux (Kayl, Luxembourg) for the supplier’s indirect supply that provided superior quality and service while continually improving processes. Eneco Wind (Mechelen, Belgium) bagged the Best Supplier Sustainability award, in recognition of the supplier’s demonstrated leadership and action to align with Avery Dennison’s sustainability policy to use responsibly sourced materials. ‘Best Supplier Service’ award went to Gantrade Corp. (Montvale, New Jersey, USA). BASF S.A. (São Paulo, Brazil) bagged the ‘Best Supplier Innovation’ award, while Sappi (Brussels, Belgium) won Best Supplier Quality award and USF Holland (Holland, MI, USA) bagged Best Transportation Supplier award.
