Arvind Limited shifts its model from B2B to B2C, opening more shops

Leading textile major Arvind Limited expects to become a billion-dollar during the current fiscal by clocking Rs 5,000 crore revenues by March 2012. The company saw a 46 percent revenue growth in branded apparel and retail business segments and 18 percent revenue growth in textile business. Also, the company has been shifting its model from B2B to B2C by opening more and more Arvind Retail shops and selling fabrics, branded garments and tailoring solutions through Arvind retail outlets. As of today, Arvind Retail has opened total 40 such stores and is going to add another 80 by the fiscal end. Such a boost in Arvind Limited’s retail presence will bring fresh business opportunity to the signage companies whose jobs closely involved with in-store/in-shop displays and others.
