Alcan acquired and changes its name

Schweiter Technologies, a Swiss company, has recently acquired Alcan Composites with the announcement that the company will be known by the name 3A Composites. It will however continue to manufacture and sell its product lines for graphic display, building cladding, furniture, home construction, etc. 3A Composites’ leading product brands include Alucobond, Dibond, Fome-Cor, Sintra, Gator, Omni-Flute, Gator-Ply, Syn-Ply, and Luxcell.

The name 3A Composites is reminiscent of the three powerful company brands which preceded it: Alcan, Alusuisse and Airex. The new name reflects the company’s unequaled reputation for quality that they serve. It is also affirmed that the highest priority the company would pay will continue to be to meet customers’ needs with value-added products backed by outstanding customer service.
