Akiba Dori with FranGlobal to open 30 outlets in India

Dubai-based modern Japanese restaurant Akiba Dori has partnered with international franchising firm FranGlobal to enter India. With six restaurants launched across GCC in last five years, it has signed a 30-location franchise development deal for India. The group is eyeing major cosmopolitan locations within India over the next five years, bringing the signature Akiba Dori style and modern Japanese street-food & Tokyo-style pizza that customers of the brand have enjoyed over the last five years in the UAE. Now, signage players can gear up to tap this new business opportunity emerging in the retail domain.
