Ahujasons plans for retail expansion with new 12 showrooms

Ahujasons Shawl Wale Ltd has planned to invest up to Rs 140 crore to expand its retail footprints. The company is planning to open 12 showrooms across the country and six in overseas markets in the next five years. New showrooms will be a mix of company owned and franchised. At present, the company has two retail outlets in Delhi and one in Tokyo in Japan. The company, which gets about 60 per cent of its total turnover from exports, said despite local expansion, export will continue to account a major chunk in its total turnover. New boost in the retail domain with the gradual opening of new stores around will bring in fresh business opportunity for the signage companies dealing in in-shop branding, designs and related activities.
