Aditya Birla plans for new set of hypermarkets in Karnataka

Aditya Birla Group has big investment plans for Karnataka as the company plans to expand its retail chain in the state. 123 supermarkets and the two hypermarkets will be scaled up to 172 supermarkets and 10 Hypermarkets at an investment of Rs 5.25 billion. Madura Garments, the apparel division of Aditya Birla Nuvo, has continuously been voted India’s ‘Most Admired Apparel Company and has been a pioneer in making Karnataka the heart of apparel manufacturing and branding. Aditya Birla’s huge expansion plan will bring a delight in business of some signage players, such as in-store signage companies, PSPs, fabricators, etc.
