Aditya Birla Group with Galeries Lafayette to open India’s first luxury department stores

Aditya Birla Group in collaboration with Galeries Lafayette is going to open India’s first luxury department store, which will be located in Mumbai and Delhi. With the 90,000 sq ft flagship store in Mumbai is expected to be operational by 2024 and housed across two historic buildings. The 65,000 sq ft store in Delhi, expected to be operational in 2025, will be at DLF Emporio, one of India’s largest luxury malls. The flagship stores in Mumbai and Delhi will bring more than 200 luxury and designer brands under one roof. Such vibrancy in the retail domain with new flagship stores of leading brands is a new business opportunity for the signage companies engaging in in-store branding and graphic projects.
