Seeing an opportunity to aid Indian banks in their anti-money laundering compliance efforts, US-based Accuity has decided to set up shop in India. The company, owned by B2B data and content provider Reed Business Information and part of Reed Elsevier, will set up a subsidiary in Mumbai in the next three months. The company also plans to set up a branch office in Delhi to help meet its clients’ requirements here. By establishing in India, Accuity is also looking to work closely with Indian regulators and with trade bodies, such as Indian Banks Association. Apart from all new opportunities, opening of the new Accuity shop will bring in a fresh business opportunity for the PSPs, sign makers and others engaging in in-shop displays, designs and related jobs.
