Summa introduces electronic oscillatting knife

Summa launches a new tool for its F1612 cutting table: the electronic oscillating tool. The oscillating tool fits into the Tangential module of the F1612 and is quickly connected with a cable to the central unit. The oscillating tool is driven by an electric motor producing up to 12000rpm and has a stroke of approximately 1mm. At the launch, knives will be available to cut material up to a thickness of 20mm.

Summa’s oscillating knife makes the unit suitable to cut foam boards and corrugated cardboard. The creasing tools will also be released, and even extended with some extra wheels, in order to offer a more complete solution. The oscillating tool can be used for thinner materials as well, where static knives are less successful.
