Innovia Films garners status of FESPA UK Waste Accreditation Champion

Innovia Films, a material science pioneer and global producer of BOPP films, has announced their new status as a Champion of FESPA UK’s Waste Accreditation Programme. This achievement underscores Innovia’s ongoing commitment to sustainable production, responsible waste management, and advancing circular economy solutions within the UK graphics sector. As a global pioneer in PVC-free polypropylene films, Innovia Films provides brand owners and converters with environmentally responsible alternatives that deliver exceptional performance and quality. All the films for the graphics market are manufactured at the company’s UK facility in Wigton, Cumbria, reinforcing its dedication to local production, reduced carbon footprint, and secure supply chains.

Through participation in the FESPA UK Waste Accreditation Programme, Innovia Films will: Enhance industry collaboration by engaging with like-minded organisations through the sector’s premier not-for-profit association. It will also ensure full accountability and traceability for the waste management of its self-adhesive polypropylene films — enabling end-of-life materials from customers to be responsibly collected and returned to its Wigton site. Further, it is designed to gain valuable insights via quarterly reporting and data transparency to monitor handled volumes, participating customers, and future recycling projections.
