Meteor Inkjet Ltd, a leading supplier of industrial inkjet printhead driving solutions, has announced the collaboration with additive manufacturing technology provider Quantica. Under this partnership, Meteor will supply its drive electronics to power Quantica’s NovoJet printhead. By leveraging Meteor’s established reputation for precision and reliability, this partnership equips the NovoJet™ printhead with electronics already trusted across the global inkjet community. Quantica’s technology is capable of jetting complex functional materials, such as high-viscosity adhesives, advanced coatings, and micron-scale particle inks that have traditionally been beyond the capabilities of conventional printheads.
The first Quantica system to feature Meteor’s drive electronics will be the Quantica Print Engine, a production-ready platform designed for seamless integration into industrial manufacturing environments. Delivery of this new system is scheduled for 2026. Meteor solutions integrate with commercially available 3D build tools and fully manage printhead and ink supply control functions, including recirculation to prevent sedimentation and nozzle blockage. Meteor’s ability to support ultra-high data rates, large image buffers and long cable lengths means that systems with printheads mounted on robotics or other complex configurations can be deployed without limitation.
