Walmart to open six more stores in Uttar Pradesh

Retail major Walmart is geared up to open six more stores in Uttar Pradesh soon, taking the number of such outlets to ten. The company has four stores at present – two in Agra, and one each in Meerut and Lucknow. The company has launched Walmart India’s second B2B Fulfilment Centre in Lucknow—the first in Uttar Pradesh and the second in the country after Bhiwandi, Mumbai, which was set up last November. This new development in the retail sector is an added business opportunity for the signage companies dealing in in-store projects.
