Retail giant WALMART has inked an MoU with the Maharashtra government for setting up 15 wholesale cash-and-carry stores in the state. It will bring in an investment of Rs. 900 crore and generate 30,000 jobs. And in turn, it will also create new business opportunity for the signage companies with their activities involve in in-store branding, designs and such activities. WALMART is already operating in nine states with 21 stores. In Maharashtra, it already has stores in Amravati and Aurangabad. It operates the B2B stores under the Best Price Modern Wholesale brand.
