Avery Dennison India Pvt Ltd recently organized a series of two-day training programme in three cities viz. Mumbai (22-23 September 08); Bangalore (24-25 September 08); and Delhi (26-27, September 2008). The trainer for the sessions was David Newman, technical support manager, Asia Pacific, Avery Dennison based in Sydney.
The workshop dealt with the areas of product dynamics and application techniques that are essential for making right choices in the graphic industry. It was attended by the Avery distributors, operators, applicators and commercial installers.
First day of the workshop was targeted towards providing business partners with a detailed overview on Avery range of products, whereas the second day saw a focus towards the right application technique and finishing tips and tricks on graphics. The workshop was a dedicated effort towards creating awareness about different application of graphics with a special emphasis on wall graphics, window films and vehicle wraps. It proved to be an interactive session which ended with knowledge being communicated and deciphered in an idealistic manner.
The sessions covered varied topics including wall graphics application; window graphics application; vehicle graphics applications; digital printing – solvent/eco-solvent & UV printing – details, common issues, problem solving, how to handle media, precautions etc.
Overall the event was well attended by distributors, their sales team, converters, printers, end users and applicators all across India.
