Summa launches Twin Workflow for F-Series flatbed cutters

Summa releases new Twin workflow, which is designed and engineered to allow users to decide on the fly that machines to route a cutting job to. After a job comes off the printer, it can be cut on either an S Class 2 OPOS CAM Series or an F Series flatbed table – or a combination of the two. Both machines feature built-in cameras capable of reading the same cut data and the Summa Postnet barcode. Summa boasts its versatile F-Series flatbed cutters. Its widely popular F2630 model, which was launched last year, features a 104 x 120-inch work surface (nearly 75 percent larger than the company’s F1612 model). The cutter leverages 12 vacuum zones that automatically sense and reset according to the size of the material in use; inactive areas of the table can be used to load and unload additional jobs. It also offers optional split-roll support, capable of handling two side-by-side rolls at once.
