Screen debuts direct-to-textile Truepress Jet2500UV printer

Screen’s growing commitment towards environmental trend has been revealed with the introduction of its large-format, high-quality textile printer Truepress Jet2500UV. The printer is a new standard to print direct-to-textile for a wide variety of durable soft signs, banners and flags without resorting to traditional two-stage dye sublimation process.

Truepress Jet2500UV uses Screen’s flexible UV-curable inks and drop-on-demand variable dot piezo-electric grayscale printheads to make it suitable for producing applications virtually on all roll-fed and sheet materials. To meet the growing demand for textile-based displays, these inks are formulated with the correct levels of flexibility to make them ideal for printing direct onto fabrics without the need for machine modifications.

Typical speed of 34 sq m/hr enables the Truepress Jet2500UV to compete favourably with dedicated textile print on demand systems.
