Screen adds roll to roll option to Truepress Jet W3200UV

Screen has added a new 3.2m wide roll-to-roll option to its increasingly popular Truepress Jet W3200UV flatbed UV printer, making it one of the industry’s most versatile machines capable of handling a variety of flexible and rigid materials. As a joint development between Screen (Japan) and its subsidiary Inca Digital (UK), the Truepress Jet W3200UV printer is a six colour + white device designed to meet the demands of the POS, signage and decor markets today. It has the ability to print onto a wide range of rigid and now, flexible media up to 3.2 x 1.6m in size and up to a maximum 50mm thickness.

Truepress inks, renowned for their flexibility and adhesion, include a high-opacity white, light cyan and light magenta, with excellent resistance to the bending and cutting of print substrates. Local Managing Director Peter Scott says: “The upcoming release of a 3.2 metre roll-feed and take-up option more than doubles the appeal of the W3200UV. Because of its speed, changing from a rigid flatbed job to roll-to-roll work is all the more attractive. The same near-photographic quality will be achievable on close and distance – viewed roll media, banners, billboards, backlit panels, vehicle wraps and so on.
