Roland’s all new VersaCAMM SP-i

Roland DGA Corporation has announced a new VersaCAMM SP-i series of inkjet printer/cutters featuring innovative print/cut technology, which combines precision printing and contour cutting all in one device through one seamless workflow. This new Versa series includes the 30 inch SP-300i and the 54 inch SP-540i inkjet printer/cutters, engineered to enhance the productivity of creative professionals—from marketing departments and retailers to sign shops and screen printers.

VersaCAMM SP-i printer/cutter features several enhancements over the previous models including Roland Intelligent Pass Control for new levels of productivity and higher image quality, a new heavy duty media handling system for stable media feeding through long production runs and new VersaWorks 3.2 RIP software.

Integrated two-stage heater system in the printer makes prints dry quickly even in high-speed mode for immediate finishing, installation or collection by the take-up system. This series also supports an optional automated media feed and take-up system to facilitate precision unattended printing. A new heavy-duty media handling system ensures stable media feeding through long print runs. With this new system, SP-300i handles rolls weighing up to 44 pounds and the SP-540i accepts up to 66 pounds.

As an integrated printer/cutter, VersaCAMM SP-i inkjet makes it easier and faster to produce graphics of virtually any size and shape in a range of applications including POP displays, decals, vehicle and floor graphics, heat transfers for apparel, posters, banners, signs, etc.
