ONYX Graphics colour scientists awarded

ONYX Graphics affirms its position as the market leader in wide-format printer RIP software with recent honours bestowed on its resident colour scientists, Dr Max Derhak and Dr. Lin Luo (Eric). Among the honours are a Macbeth Award for outstanding contribution in the field of colour science, a patent for establishing ink usage of process channels, and the publication of three prominent scientific papers in a leading colour technology publication. Both of them have helped in shaping the industry with their prominent successes.

Dr Max Derhak is the principal scientist at ONYX Graphics and co-chair of the International Color Consortium (ICC). He was recently recognised with the Macbeth Award from the Inter-Society Color Council (ISCC), the principal professional society in the field of colour in the United States encompassing the arts, sciences and industry. Meanwhile, Dr Lin Luo (Eric) recently had three published papers selected for inclusion in Coloration Technology’s Award Winners Virtual Issue 2015.
