Monte Carlo Fashions plans for 20 new exclusive brand stores

Monte Carlo Fashions is investing Rs 15 to 20 crore in a new project to open 20 new exclusive brand stores this fiscal. The Ludhiana-headquartered company is looking to intensifying its footprint in the South where it has 10 stores spread across Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Mysuru, Kochi, Coimbatore, Hyderabad and Udhagamandalam. A source from the company says they have traditionally had a strong presence in the North and East markets as they started off with woolen knitted garments or winter wear for men and women in 1984. Now, they are looking to focus on the South and West markets, with four to five new store launches in the Southern cities this fiscal. Such ascendant plan of the company will be an added business opportunity for the signage companies dealing in in-shop designs, displays, branding and such tasks.
