McDonald’s enters Vishakhapatnam

McDonald’s has opened its first restaurant at the CMR Central Mall in Vishakhapatnam. Opening of the first McDonald’s outlet in the city marks third outlet in Andhra Pradesh, the other two being in Vijayawada and Nellore. Hardcastle Restaurants Pvt Ltd (HRPL), the master franchisee of McDnald’s operations in West and South India, has entered the thirty-sixth city taking the count to 103 in South India. The city’s outlet also has the State’s first McCafe to offer a wide range of premium coffee from cappuccino to latte to iced mocha and frappe. Gradual surge in the sector with the popping up of new high-end outlets like McDonald’s will be an added business opportunity for the signage companies whose jobs involve in in-shop displays, designs and such tasks.
