M Tex introduces three textile printers: Dragon, Scorpion and Eagle

MTex has announced the launch of three direct-to-textile printers—Dragon, Scorpion and Eagle. Each of the new three textile systems is a modular system equipped with printheads offering variable droplets ranging from 3 to 24 pl, offering maximum resolution of 1440 dpi. The Dragon roll-to-roll textile printer is designed to produce a gamut of textile applications, ranging from signage, display graphics, and interior décors. The system is 74.8 inches in size with eight printheads for a 4-8 colour configurations and capable to deliver graphics images up to 1475 sq ft/hr in four-color mode at 720 dpi.

Further, Scorpion offers the option of roll-to-roll printing or an adhesive belt for stretched or knitted fabrics. Designed for the high-end fashion market, this model prints acid/pigment or reactive dyes at up to 5,920 sq ft/hr on materials up to 74.8 inches wide. The printer is equipped with 16 or 32 printheads with 4 or 8 colours. And the 126-inch Eagle is capable to offer roll-to-roll imaging or an adhesive belt. The printer prints disperse or pigment inks up to 5,845 sq ft/hr for applications such as display graphics and home textiles.
