Kernow material shows reduction of coronavirus on its treated surfaces

Kernow Coatings, leading manufacturer of OEM certified printable digital synthetic papers, has announced that following ISO 21702:2019 testing, which measures antiviral activity on plastics and other non-porous surfaces, that KernowPrint HWT5 has shown to reduce SARS-COV-2 by 90 percent after 24 hours when compared to an untreated product. Phil Bartlett, Technical Director at Kernow Coatings announced that KernowPrint HWT5 has received an Antiviral Test Certificate tested to ISO 21702:2019 standards and that it has shown to reduce SARS-COV-2 with the results: SARS-COV-2 = 68.38 percent after 4 hours; SARS-COV-2 = 68.38 percent after 6 hours; SARS-COV-2 = 90 percent after 24 hours.
