 Mehta Cad Cam Systems Pvt Ltd (MCCSPL) is one of the oldest and leading companies in India for digital solvent printers, CNC engraving and router machines, vinyl cutting plotters, laser engraver and laser cutting machines. Under the young and dynamic vision of Shailesh, the company was established in 1989. “Initially, we were into some sign industry related business and in 1993 we started our full-fledged operations with the GCC cutting plotters and laser engravers, and even today it is one of our biggest brands,” Shailesh said.

MCCSPL was presented with MVP award from GCC in Düsseldorf, Germany, in the year 2000 for their service support in India.

Having over 15 years of successful existence, today, MCCSPL is dominating the Indian market with its wide range of products, which include solvent inkjet printers; wide format inkjet printers; CNC engraving & router machines, laser engravers, vinyl cutting plotters, U-marq engraving & marking machines, CNC mould making machines & thermocol cutting machines.

Since inception, the company has always brought the best for Indian market, from around the world. “We always remain in touch with international markets and keep observing its trends. And as per Indian requirement, we always bring the best suited option,” Shailesh explained.

 While discussing about the present scenario, he expressed his views about increasing Chinese hold worldwide in printing and signage segment. During the last 5-6 years, the whole market scenario has changed. Chinese manufacturers now offer machines at minimal prices with better quality that were quite expensive earlier. This has led to a new wave of growth in this segment.

“The growth of Chinese machines worldwide is also because of the printhead manufacturers support from Europe-XAAR, USA-Spectra and Japan-Seiko. They are promoting Chinese manufacturers by giving them complete knowhow of the printheads technology and this is the reason that they could produce wonderful machines equal to or better than European or American machines,” he said. MCCSPL is the authorized distributors to GCC, Great Computer Corporation, Taiwan; Woodpecker, ROC Machine Electronics System Engineering (Shanghai) Company Ltd, China; Gongzheng, Zhejiang Gongzheng Development Co Ltd, China; Dream Jet, Korea; and HG Laser, China.

And then, we supply these equipments to customers. We just don’t sell machines but we sell a complete concept. We just don’t bring the machines from different parts of the world, but we bring a complete technology and put effort in making the common people aware about those technologies. We keep bringing related and advanced technology so that we can help our customers to expand their business thus resulting in our expansion as well. We always provide all support like latest technology machines, all spares, related software, accessories and consumables under one roof. The beauty of our organization is that we are committed to provide spare parts for certain minimum years, ” he added.

On asking about the market share of different zones, Shailesh told, “From the beginning, we never planned to target one particular region of India at a time, but rather have a nationalized approach. Our machines are equally popular in North, South, East and West.” With dedicated efforts, today Mehta Cad Cam Systems Pvt Ltd has 80% of market share in CNC engraving and router machines, vinyl cutting plotters, laser engraver and laser cutting machines.
