Ivan Tenchev from Bulgaria takes FESPA World Wrap Masters 2018 title

At the recent FESPA 2018 in Berlin, the World Wrap Masters Series winners were announced. Ivan Tenchev from Bulgaria took the title with second and third prizes went to Casper Madsen and Jan Edelgaard, both from Denmark. All three winners received cash prizes. The FESPA World Wrap Masters Series is sponsored by Hexis and ran throughout the year, concluding with two events at FESPA 2018 between 15 and 18 May. The competition began on May 15 and 16 with the last regional qualifying competition, the World Wrap Masters Europe. 42 international competitors, including entrants from Japan and Australia, battled it out in a series of timed tasks, including wrapping vehicle sections, chairs and lockers.

This is the first time Ivan Tenchev has been crowned World Wrap Master, but it is his second FESPA Wrap Masters title, having won Wrap Master Eurasia in 2016.He joins a select group of FESPA World Wrap Masters including Jonas Sjostrom of Sweden (WWM17), Jim Miller of USA (WWM16), Kiss Lajos of Hungary (WWM15 and WWM14) and Piotr Cinski of Poland, who was the first World Wrap Master in 2013.
