IPAMA decides to reschedule 15th PRINTPACK INDIA due to second pandemic wave

Keeping in view of the impact of second pandemic wave in the country and lockdown imposed by various state governments and its subsequent impact on industrial operations, IPAMA (Indian Printing, Packaging and Allied Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (IPAMA) has decided to organise the 15th PRINTPACK INDIA on newly rescheduled dates. The news dates will be announced as and when the situation permits. Members of the Governing Council of IPAMA recently held their 118th meeting to review a survey report on the organisation of 15th PRINTPACK INDIA which was scheduled to be held from December 20–24, 2021 at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, Delhi-NCR. At the meeting, along with the reviewing of the survey report, the council also considered various other relevant factors like government covid guidelines, health-related issues of exhibitors, business visitors, service providers, etc.

The council also considered the impact of lockdowns on the industrial operations as well as postponements of significant events like Delhi Auto Expo, India ITME and others due to pandemic. Based on the information provided by the exhibitors, IPAMA prepared a comparative statement in which around 80 percent of the exhibitors recommended postponement of the exhibition, while 20 percent said they are comfortable for participation in the exhibition under the prevailing condition.
