HP PageWide XL and DesignJet printers honoured with 2016 Red Dot Design Awards

HP Inc has announced that its HP PageWide XL Printer series and HP DesignJet T830 have been honoured with prestigious 2016 Red Dot Awards. The HP PageWide XL Printer portfolio was awarded the highest distinction, the Red Dot: Best of the Best Design Award, for its outstanding and ground-breaking design quality. And the HP PageWide XL Printer series was among the 1.5 percent awarded out of more than 5,200 product submissions from manufacturing and designers representing 57 nations. The large-format HP PageWide XL Printer portfolio, which includes the flagship HP PageWide XL 8000 Printer as well as the HP PageWide XL 5000 and 4000/4500 printer series, enables reprographic houses, PSPs, enterprise central reprographic departments and print corners to open new business opportunities with geographic information system maps, POS and posters. The Red Dot jury was consisted of 41 international experts, including freelance designers, design professors and specialised journalists.
