HP Inc dreams of a thousand stores in India

Hewlett Packard (HP) Inc is on an expansion spree in India as the company has expanded in the past 18 months from 350 stores to 500 stores, and is now targeting to open 1,000 exclusive HP World stores in India. The company is already present in 500 towns and is planning to reach 800 towns in the next two years through its exclusive stores. From around 25 percent market share in the PC segment in 2015, the company’s share has gone up close to 29.5 percent as of last quarter, according to IDC report. HP Inc’s store expansion plan is a big business opportunity for the signage companies whose activities largely include in-store branding, displays and such tasks.
