HP as first platinum patron at SGP Patron programme
Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) has added HP to the SGP Patron programme. HP is the first company to join as an SGP Platinum Patron, the highest patronage level. Joins with numerous other companies, HP has demonstrated its commitment to sustainability by becoming an SGP Patron.Â
Marcia Kinter, board chair of SGP Partnership said that they are pleased to have a major corporation such as HP become a platinum level SGP Patron. “It clearly indicates HP’s strong support to promote sustainability within the graphic communications industry,†he added. HP sees an enormous potential to reduce waste with digital printing solution for the graphic arts industry, according to Jan Riecher, vice president and general manager, Graphics Solutions Business, HP. He further mentioned that the company’s support of the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership at the platinum level reflects their desire to extend the successes achieved in this organisation’s efforts to make sustainability a core component of print communications.
