HP and AGFA continue recovery from pandemic slowdown

HP recorded net revenue of $US15.3 billion in the third quarter of fiscal 2021, up 7.0 percent from the previous-year period. On other side, Agfa’s EBITDA increased from 15 million Euro in Q1 2021 to 40 million Euro in Q2 2021. A source from the HP said that the company is performing while they are transforming their business models and service offerings to accelerate growth opportunities across the portfolio. Printing net revenue was $4.9 billion, up 24 percent year over year. Total hardware units were down 4 percent overall, with consumer units down 8 percent and commercial units up 29 percent.

Agfa-Gevaert’s adjusted EBITDA increased from 31 million Euro in Q2 2020 and 15m Euro in Q1 2021 to 40m Euro in Q2 2021. The company’s net profit was 15m Euro. According to a statement from the company, in the second quarter, all divisions performed markedly better than in the first three months of the year.
