Godrej's gourmet retail division aims at three-fold jump, new stores

Godrej Group’s retailing venture, Natures Basket, announces contribution from its retailing venture to increase three-folds in the coming years. The company, which has in all 10 stores, unfolds its gourmet retailing venture is generating profits and is emerging as a destination shopping point. The company has been growing generously and registered a 70 percent growth year on year growth in 2009-10. At present, it has eight stores in Mumbai and two in Delhi. It is exploring the option of setting four stores in the coming six months. Opening of new Godrej gourmet stores is an added opportunity for signage companies dealing with in-store displays.
