Future Group to open India’s first non-food, non-clothing wholesale mall

Future Group, along with Bangalore-based developer Sattva, is opening a first-of-its-kind wholesale market in Bangalore at an investment of over Rs 100 crore. World Market, which is being built on the lines of the YIWU market in China and Dragon Mart in Dubai, is coming up on Old Madras Road. It is spread across 10.72 acres and has a total developable area of 10 lakh sq ft. In addition to housing traders’ from all walks of the retail spectrum, the mall will also offer a wide range of facilities and services. Mushrooming of such mall in every corner of the Indian retail zone will be an added advantage for the signage companies dealing extensively in the in-shop displays, mall decors, etc.
