DCM Shriram to increase retail outlets

Diversified group DCM Shriram Consolidated (DSCL) aims to achieve revenue of Rs 700 crore from its rural retail business in this fiscal. In the move, the company plans to increase the number of its retail outlets—Haryali Kisaan Bazaar— to around 500 stores in the next two-three years. In the last two years, the company has been able to open over 300 outlets across the country. This plan to boost retail outlets will offer a new business opportunity to signage players like in-store media players and signage suppliers.
